The Jeffrey Epstein death is the mystery of America at the moment, but the details are starting to pour out on what transpired. It seems that Epstein was capable of finding time to hang himself while guards were taking a long cat nap while on the job.

It was released by the New York Post how Jeffrey Epstein was able to committee suicide in his jail cell.

The New York Post wrote, “Jeffrey Epstein was found hanging in his lower Manhattan jail cell with a bedsheet wrapped around his neck and secured to the top of a bunk bed, The Post has learned.”

The Post continued, “The convicted pedophile, who was 6 feet tall, apparently killed himself by kneeling toward the floor and strangling himself with the makeshift noose, law enforcement sources said Monday. He hadn’t been checked on for several hours, sources said. Epstein was “unresponsive” when he was discovered in his cell at the Special Housing Unit of the Metropolitan Correctional Center at around 6:30 a.m. on Saturday, the federal Bureau of Prisons has said.”

In a new develop in the story is the two guards on duty falsified their logs. The New York Times broke this story establishing the guards on duty lied on their logs in order to claim they checked on the inmates every 30 minutes.

The New York Times wrote, “The two correctional officers in the special housing unit where Mr. Epstein was held — 9 South — falsely recorded in a log that they had checked on the financier, who was facing sex trafficking charges, every 30 minutes, as was required. Such false entries in an official log could constitute a federal crime.”

The New York Times continued to note that the guards fell asleep for three hours during their shift where Epstein hung himself. The guards were also reported to be over worked and highly understaff. However, that is no excuse for sleeping on your job while you are being paid by tax payers. These guards will likely be fired from their jobs.
