Assistant Attorney General Stephen Boyd wrote a letter to Jerry Nadler about the investigation into the Mueller investigation. The letter stated they will be turning over every rock in order to find out what took place in order to launch a spying ring on a presidential candidate.
After reading this letter Democrats will likely start shaking in fear realizing the Attorney General is following up on his promise to get to the bottom of the spying ring against political opponents. Barr’s initiative is to bring credibility back to the Department of Justice.
Here are some key notes from the letter.
““It is now well established that, in 2016, the U.S. government and others undertook certain intelligence-gathering and investigative steps directed at persons associated with the Trump Campaign,” Assistant Attorney General Stephen Boyd wrote Nadler.
“The Review is broad in scope and multifaceted, and is intended to illuminate open questions regarding the activities of U.S. and foreign intelligence services as well as non-governmental organizations and individuals,” Boyd stated in the letter.
