Republican California congressional candidate Omar Navarro has announced he will be challenging Maxine Waters in 2020 for her Congressional seat. Navarro is a young Cuban Hispanic Conservative that is tired of the rhetoric coming from the deplorable Maxine Waters and is hoping to unseat her.
Omar Navarro appeared on Fox News where he discussed the issues his district faces with Maxine Waters and how they have grown tired of her. Typically Republicans wouldn’t have a shot at winning this deep blue district, but Navarro notes that the district is a 54% Hispanic majority (worth noting Navarro is a Hispanic man) and have grown tired of a dividing voice like Maxine Waters. If Navarro does connect with the Hispanic vote in his district we may see Maxine Waters be unseated by a Republican candidate in 2020.
