We are about to enter the third week of a partial Government shutdown over a fight to have a much needed border wall. Democrats have been obstructing the safety of all Americans to refuse a wall due to their hatred of President Trump. However, Trump is now considering other avenues in order to get his wall by potentially declaring a national emergency.
Trump stated on Sunday, “I may decide a national emergency depending on what happens over the next few days.”
President Trump made similar statements on Friday to reporters, “We can call a national emergency and build it very quickly. It’s another way of doing it. We can do it through a negotiated process, we’re giving that a shot.”
President Trump will meet with Congressional leaders next week to negotiate the details over the wall, but it will unlikely have any success. Trump in the right in refusing to budge on the $5.6 Billion he wants for the wall, while Democrats are wrongfully willing to budge o their $1.3 Billion.
