Mitt Romney wrote an op-ed for the Washington Post where he attacked President Trump for not being a moral enough person to be President. This was met with a response from President trump telling him to be a team player, but now other Republicans are standing up for the President by targeting Romney including his own niece.
Romney wrote, “To a great degree, a presidency shapes the public character of the nation. A president should unite us and inspire us to follow ‘our better angels. And it is in this province where the incumbent’s shortfall has been most glaring.”
Republican Senator Rand Paul fired back to the op-ed on his Twitter account.
GOP Chairwoman and Mitt Romney’s niece fired off on her uncle for his op-ed as well.
