President Trump sent a strong serious threat to the Democrats if they plan on spending their two years in House majority investigating him for no reason. Trump stated to the New York Post, if Democrats want to “play rough” he will destroy them politically. Trump claimed, “I’m a counter-puncher and I will hit them so hard they’d never been hit like that.”
The comment that fired President Trump up was from Maxine Waters, where she said she is going to harass Trump’s business financials.
Maxine Waters stated, “I am committed to strong oversight and following the Trump money trail. Starting with Deutsche Bank and suspicious activity reports (SARs) filed with the Financial Crimes Enforcement Network, or FinCEN.”
Waters continued, “To date, I have joined with my subcommittee Ranking Members to write numerous letters to our regulators, Chairman Hensarling, and Deutsche Bank on this matter.”
President Trump responded to the New York Post claiming he is going to destroy the Democrats politically by using his executive order power to declassify documents. These Documents Trump claims prove Democrats and the DOJ colluded together to take down Trump as President.
Trump stated, “If they go down the presidential harassment track, if they want go and harass the president and the administration, I think that would be the best thing that would happen to me.”
Trump continued, “I’m a counter-puncher and I will hit them so hard they’d never been hit like that.”
The New York post noted, “The commander-in-chief said he could declassify FISA warrant applications and other documents from Robert Mueller’s probe — and predicted the disclosure would expose the FBI, the Justice Department and the Clinton campaign as being in cahoots to set him up.”
Trump continued to respond to the New York post,
“I think that would help my campaign. If they want to play tough, I will do it. They will see how devastating those pages are.”
“It’s much more powerful if I do it then, because if we had done it already, it would already be yesterday’s news.”
“Some things maybe the public shouldn’t see because they are so bad. Maybe it’s better that the public not see what’s been going on with this country.”
