On Wednesday Attorney General Jeff Sessions was fired by President Trump. This announcement came on Twitter from President Trump twelve hours after the elections were called. With the announcement Trump announced Matthew G. Whitaker will become the acting Attorney General.
Soon after Trump announced Sessions released his resignation letter on Twitter.
Matthew G. Whitaker is a strong critic of Robert Muller and his Russia Investigation, which means he will likely replace Rod Rosenstein as the oversight in the investigation. It will seem likely Whitaker will take a hard stance against Robert Muller and bring down the hammer on this hoax of an investigation. It may also bring in investigations into the DOJ and the Clinton Obama camps with Whitaker’s likely willingness to help the Senate obtain information they request.
