Texas is seeing record number of early-voter turnouts this midterms. The largest 30 counties in Texas have had 4.9 million people casting their vote early. this is roughly 40% of the 12 million registered voters in the 30 Texas counties.

These 30 counties with early voting alone has surpassed the 2014 total votes cast of 4.7 million in the 30 counties. We will likely see over 50% of registered voter turnout in the counties.

Both Ted Cruz and Beto O’rourke believe high voter turnout would favor them in the election. A new poll released shows the race between Cruz and O’Rourke has become razor thin. In the new Poll Cruz has only a 3.1 point lead over O’Rourke.

If you are in Texas and have yet to vote make sure you get out on November 6th. And if you already voted your job is not done, follow-up with friends and family members and make sure they get out and vote.
