CBS released a poll on Sunday showing Texas incumbent Republican Senator Ted Cruz has a 50-44 lead on Democrat Challenger Beto O’Rourke.
The CBS battleground tracker poll surveyed 1031 registered and likely voters in the state of Texas between the dates of October 2-5. The CBS poll showed Ted Cruz currently has a 6 point lead over Beto O’Rourke with a margin of error of 3.9 points. The lead means Ted Cruz has a likely chance of retaining his senate seat and preserving Texas values.
According to CBS, Democrat voters are motivated out of opposition of President Trump. While Republican voters are motivated out of supports for President Trump.
