President Trump sounded off on republican Alaska Senator Lisa Murkowski for her “NO” vote on Brett Kavanaugh. President Trump claimed the “people of Alaska will never forgive her.”
According to The Washington post,
“In a brief telephone interview with The Washington Post, Trump said voters in Alaska “will never forgive” Murkowski for voting against confirming Kavanaugh, and he forecast her defeat in a Republican primary should she run for reelection in 2022.”
“I think she will never recover from this,” Trump said. “I think the people from Alaska will never forgive her for what she did.”
“She doesn’t run for four years,” he said. “She’s lucky.”
President Trump is correct the people of Alaska will not forget nor forgive Murkowski for turning her back on them. Two prominent Conservatives have hinted at running against Murkowski in 2022 when her term is up, which are Sarah Palin, and Fox News host Laura Ingraham.
