The Federal Election Commission (FEC) flagged Democrat Beto O’Rourke’s campaign for Texas Senate seat on Sunday. The FEC discovered Beto O’Rourke was accepting “excessive” and “impermissible” donations.
The FEC reported that Beto O’Rourke has accepted donations from individuals that exceed the legal maximum one can donate. But the most alarming violation they caught is O’Rourke was accepting donations from foreign nationals outside of the US.
Read letter in Tweet:
Even though Beto O’Rourke clearly broke campaign finance laws he has 45 days to report back with the FEC. This means Beto O’Rourke can ignore the FEC until after the election happens which is November 6th. This campaign finance violation should help motivate Texans to get out and vote Cruz and not risk having a corrupt Socialist as Senator.
