Vice President Mike Pence had strong words for Obama during his speech he gave at the Values Voter Summit on Saturday. Pence called out Obama for trying to take credit for the booming economy when in reality the economy is doing great because of removing Obama’s socialist policies. Pence stated, “It’s been two years of promises made and promises kept, and we’re just getting started.”
Mike Pence reminded the audience of the 4 million jobs created since Trump took office and the record low Black and Hispanic unemployment. While also mentioning the fastest wage growth in a decade. Pence claims most of the gains came from removing Obama’s stupid energy regulations that stifled most of the economy, “Under President Trump, the war on coal and American energy is over.”
Mike Pence reminded everyone about the promises made and kept during the Trump administration like lower taxes and repealing the individual mandated of Obamacare. “That’s promises made and promises kept,” said Pence, who added that under Trump, they cut out the core of Obamacare: “The individual mandate is gone.”
Pence finished off with bashing Obama’s speeches taking credit for the economy.
President Obama, you presided over the weakest economic expansion since the Great Depression. When we took over this economy, it was growing by less than two percent, and now it’s growing by more than four percent. This economy isn’t booming because of your policies; it’s booming because we’ve been rolling back the failed policies of your administration since day one.
“America is back, and we’re just getting started,” declared Pence.
