The Democrat Party claims we need to believe woman whenever they make an abuse claim. Apparently what they really meant was we need to believe woman only when abuse claims are against Republicans. The Democrat Party is claimed to not believe the credible domestic abuse accusations against Keith Ellison (D-MN).
Karen Monahan accused Democrat Keith Ellison of domestic abuse made a statement on Monday that Democrats don’t believe her story and have threatened to isolate her because of the allegations.
The allegations of abuse Karen Monahan came forward with were threatening text messages from Keith Ellison, and he dragged her off the bed by her feet screaming Vulgar language at her. The story broke when her sons discovered the abuse and exposed it on Facebook.
However, Monahan is outraged at how Democrats are treating the incredible accusations against Brett Kavanaugh compared to her highly credible accusations against Ellison.
On Twitter Monahan was asked, Democrats say believe women, do they believe you?
Monahan responded with a rather startling reply,
“No, they don’t,” Monahan continued. “I’ve been smeared, threatened, isolated from my own party. I provided medical records from 2017, stating on two different Dr. Visits, I told them about the abuse and who did it. My therapist released records stating I have been dealing and healing from the abuse.”
Karen Monahan continued claiming, “Four people, including my supervisor at the time, stated that I came to them after and shared the exact story I shared publicly, I shared multiple text between me and Keith, where I discuss the abuse with him and much more. As I said before, I knew I wouldn’t be believed.”
Many Democrats like Bernie Sanders stayed quite about Karen Monahan accusations, but jumped on the false allegations against Brett Kavanaugh and want to launch an investigation.
In another Tweet Karen Monahan stated, “I have nothing to prove to anyone, I simply shared my story. People can believe it or not. I don’t need anyone to affirm my humanity, I affirmed it.”
“The fact that both parties only care if it scores political points is hypocritical,” she added. “Do you think a person who has dealt with any form of abuse by politicians is thinking about politics? No, we & are families are trying to heal.”
Karen Monahan is absolutely correct how sexual abuse allegations are being used to score political points. If Keith Ellison was a Republican I would and many other Conservatives would demand an investigation into these allegations. It is time we take serious claims serious and stop with the false smear claims.
