Beto O’Rourke criminal history has been exposed and written about extensively on preserveconservativevalues.com, but there is more leaked information on O’Rourke’s drunk-driving crash from a police report.
20-years after the drunk driving crash we find out from a released police report Beto O’Rourke tried to flee the scene of his crash when he was 26 years of age.
According to the Houston Chronicle reported on Friday from the released police report “two elements of the incident that have been overlooked: that there was a crash involved, and that O’Rourke allegedly attempted to flee.”
Houston Chronicle reported:
“State and local police reports obtained by the Chronicle and Express-News show that O’Rourke was driving drunk at what a witness called “a high rate of speed” in a 75 mph zone on Interstate 10 about a mile from the New Mexico border. He lost control and hit a truck, sending his car careening across the center median into oncoming lanes. The witness, who stopped at the scene, later told police that O’Rourke had tried to drive away from the scene.”
“O’Rourke recorded a 0.136 and 0.134 on police breathalyzers, above a blood-alcohol level of 0.10, the state legal limit at the time. He was arrested at the scene and charged with DWI, but completed a court-approved diversion program and had the charges dismissed.”
Beto O’Rourke claimed he only had two beers but we all know it is impossible to score a 0.136 BAL on two beers. Clearly Beto was drinking heavy that night and was reckless with everyone’s lives on the road.
Beto filled with excuses also tried to down play it by blaming youthful poor judgment.
“Those mistakes did not ultimately define me or stop me from what I wanted to do in my life or how I wanted to contribute to the success of my family and my community,” he wrote in the op-ed piece, which was published Monday.
Being 26 is not young enough to make those claims. A 26 year-old should be a responsible adult who makes smart enough judgments to call a taxi after a night of drinking.
Studies show the brain is fully matured by the age of 25, so if Beto O’Rourke was making reckless decisions at 26 he will make the same reckless decisions today.
Beto O’Rourke does not represent Texans with his entitled coastal elite immature lifestyle. Texans are hardworking, honest, and responsible individuals that are taught true values. VOTE TED CRUZ!
