The Trump-Cohen Conversation about paying playboy model off has been released. This audio was supposed to get President Trump in a campaign finance law for impeachment. Now the debate is did he say the word “don’t”.
The audio in the beginning is useless to the conversation, but is important at the 2 minute and 40 second mark. This is a transcript of that portion.
“I need to open up a company for the transfer of all of that info regarding our friend David,” Cohen says in the recording, which CNN says is most likely a reference to David Pecker, the Chairman and CEO of American Media.
Trump interrupts to ask, “What financing?”
“Well, I’ll have to pay him something,” Cohen replied.
Trump’s response is difficult to hear, although his legal team insists that he said, “Don’t pay with cash … check,” followed by Cohen interrupting him, saying, “No, no, no, no, no. I got it.”
Main Stream media is claiming they heard “Pay Cash”. But after listening to it multiple times it is clear President Trump says “Don’t Pay Cash”. In other words this audio is absolutely nothing and is not breaking any laws in campaign finance.
